
About Us
Attorney Nuzzolo has practiced law for over 18 years and has experience working with clients for personal and business planning, including high net worth clients, as well as probate litigation matters. Her multi-disciplinary practice includes: wealth preservation, including advanced Medicaid planning, estate and trust planning and administration, tax planning, probate litigation, including trust and estate litigation/elder defense against abuse, guardianship/conservatorship litigation, and business planning and litigation.
Attorney Nuzzolo was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 2002, and she is also admitted to the Massachusetts United States District Court, District of Massachusetts, and the Massachusetts Appeals Court. She earned her LLM in Taxation at Boston University Law School in 2002 and graduated from University of New Hampshire Law School (formerly known as Franklin Pierce Law) in 2001 earning both Juris Doctor and Master of Intellectual Property degrees. While attending law school, Attorney Nuzzolo participated and excelled in intellectual property licensing programs, intellectual property based Moot Court competitions, trial advocacy competitions, and local court mediation services. While in law school, she interned at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where she worked with corporate and other university partners to negotiate intellectual property contracts on behalf of MIT. She graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University in 1996 where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice.
After completing her Tax LLM degree, Attorney Nuzzolo worked in the Boston area handling contractual and other transactional business legal matters in private practice and then she joined a large investment company in New York, as a staff attorney, to provide services to high net worth clients, where she earned her Series 7 Investment Advisor License (broker’s license). She provided complex personal, business and investment planning, as well as tax planning and preparation to her clients. Attorney Nuzzolo returned to private practice, joining Carter DeYoung in 2004 and then transitioned to her own practice at Nuzzolo Law.
Attorney Nuzzolo brings her years of experience and knowledge of financial, tax, and business matters to transactional planning for both personal and business matters. Her knowledge and experience assist her to preserve her client’s legal rights regarding estate, trust, guardianship/conservatorship, and business litigation matters in and out of court and she strives to resolve disputes in a manner that best serves her clients, understanding that it is usually a family member, partner or other close relationship involved in the litigation matter, which can often times be emotional and difficult for clients. Attorney Nuzzolo has successfully pursued litigation in federal court for her clients, as well as defended judgments for cases in the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Her approach is personal, sensitive, practical, creative and collaborative. She works with clients to guide them through all stages of life and varying levels of wealth.
When not spending time with her family, Attorney Nuzzolo gives back to her community by providing volunteer legal consultations and seminars for WE CAN, a Cape Cod non-profit organization with a mission to empower women, and assist community members who lack financial resources for legal representation. She is currently conducting business seminars for WE CAN to local women across Cape Cod. Attorney Nuzzolo is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Cape Cod, the National Association of Estate Planners & Council (NAEPC), and the Barnstable County Bar Association. She has previously participated in local business seminars and associations to promote and assist women in business.
